HONEY
Honey has been consumed for thousands of years. Rock paintings in South Africa show interactions between hunter-gatherers and bees, providing evidence of honey consumption at that time.
Bees contribute in large part to the preservation of the environment by their action on pollination. The natural appetite of bees for anything sweet leads them to forage on flowers.
In Madagascar, many projects finance beekeeping. It provides the third source of income for farmers in the big island.
Siaka Madagasikara has decided to support this approach. We work with local apiarists and support them in the development of their production.
Our honeys come from eco-friendly hives in the Manakara area.
