The soursop or Annona muricata is a tree that measures up to 25 cm long and can weigh between 1 and 3 kg. Its exterior appearance is dark green due to its bark pricked with thorns and its flesh is white. and luscious with black, indigestible seeds.
Originally from South America, soursop is also cultivated in other tropical regions including Madagascar.
