Vetiver
Vetiver is a perennial plant native to Sri Lanka whose roots can reach 3 meters deep.
Vetiver is a tropical poaceae that can measure 1 to 2.5 m in height. It forms herbaceous tufts with long leaves. It has very long and resistant roots which play an important role to fight against soil erosion due in particular to flooding.
Vetiver is cultivated in Indonesia, Réunion, Madagascar, Kenya.
Vetiver is used in perfumery. Nevertheless, its virtues in aromatherapy are very interesting.
